Frightful Weather Pictures

This is what we woke up to this morning. Actually, we're pretty fortunate. We still have power, for now. The library is closed (thank goodness) so that means no work for me and Doug doesn't go in until 3:00, although I'd really prefer it if he just stayed home with me tonight. If you are in the path of this storm, please stay safe everyone!

Here's a picture from the front door. You can't even see the driveway because of the limbs.

Further down the driveway and it's covered with tree limbs as well.

Another shot of the first picture, this time you can see more of our driveway and you can see that limbs have fallen on our neighbor's work van (fortunately, nothing on our vehicles.)

From the back of the house. Lots of little limbs all over the place back there. That was probably the source of much of the snapping noises I was hearing last night.

Yowsers, Misty! That really sucks! Hope cleanup wasn't too painful and that you're dug out and safe.

We're safe. We lost power for a day and a half and that was kind of a pain, but we're back in business now.
